About this property
Drawing from Saharan tradition, Ghassira offers guests a blend of the old world with Madrilenian modernity in its 62 square meter interiors. This two-bedroom, two-bathroom is a tranquil oasis in the vibrant Chamberi district. Deemed the “aristocrats” neighborhood, guests will find themselves surrounded by upscale architecture and some of the oldest gastronomic treasures in the city.
Ghassira is beautiful both inside and out. The complex offers an array of amenities with an on-site pool, gym, clubhouse, playground, and community garden.
Step through Ghassira’s gates to discover an exquisite outdoor space. To the right of the patio is a spacious, four-person dining set, shaded by a cantilever umbrella. On the other side of the 28 square meter terrace is a Saharan-themed lounge area complete with two hammock chairs, perfectly suited for soaking in the Spanish sunshine.
Through the front doors, a turn to the right leads to Ghassira’s kitchen space. Muted, earth-tones cover the cabinetry and countertops to create a desert-like experience. The two-top breakfast bar overlooks the patio space. The kitchen comes fully equipped with modern appliances and all the necessary kitchenware.
Further down the hall, the next door on the right leads to the detached bathroom. Creamy tiling envelopes the space and continues into the walk-in shower, creating a warm, spa-like experience.
The end of the first hallway opens up to a spacious living and dining area. Multi-textile wall coverings make for a conversation piece surrounding the four-person dining set. Next to the leafy palm to the left sits a dedicated workstation. Past the workspace, a lounge area invites entertainment with designer furnishings and layered tapestries.
Through the second hallway, the door to the left leads to a luminous bedroom. Traditional art on canvas functions as a headboard, framing the queen-sized bed. In the right corner sits Ghassira’s second dedicated workstation, with lantern lighting adding warmth to the space. At the bedroom’s entrance, the left wall is flush with built-in storage.
Across the hall is the ensuite bedroom. Through the bedroom doors and to the left is the attached bathroom, boasting serenity and spa-like aesthetics. An all-glass, walk-in shower and floating vanity give the bathroom its modern edge. Into the bedroom, a radiant space is revealed. Betoken to a Saharan sunset, the intricately-shaped wicker frame complements the queen-sized bed. The double windows to the left add natural lighting to the room while the built-in closets to the left provide utility.
All bedding and linens are provided.
