Two brothers. Ten cities. One idea.

Brothers Stanley and Jeremy Fourteau had lived in 10 cities before turning 30. Growing up, their mother made every new apartment feel like home from day one: the right objects, the right atmosphere, the sense that the space had been chosen rather than inherited. That instinct stayed with them both.

Arriving somewhere new had stopped feeling like a mountain to climb and started feeling like an adventure, but only once the home was right.

Stanley took that conviction into Airbnb, leading growth across Latin America and beyond. Jeremy took it into product, building digital experiences at Headspace and Knotel. They had seen what housing could be at its best, and how rarely it got there.

In 2020, they built Ukio.

Born in Barcelona
Our first 20 apartments opened in Barcelona, built on the idea that a furnished home in a new city could feel like yours from the first night.
2021
Madrid and Lisbon
Two new cities joined the map, and the Ukio network grew to 100 apartments.
2022
Paris
Ukio arrives in one of Europe's most demanding markets. By year's end, 500 apartments across four cities and a Series A to keep building.

5,000 guests
Five thousand people called Ukio home. Some for a month, some for the season, some long enough to make the city theirs.

1,000 apartments
A portfolio built on relationships, not just listings. Every apartment chosen, designed, and placed with intention.

A new creative chapter, every 6 months
Once the mood is set, we bring a fresh concept that sets the tone for the next 6 months. A curated palette and 3 distinct collections, all rooted in nature and the art of living with intention.

The apartment doesn't choose the mood, the concept adapts to the space. Depending on the architecture and character of each home, the right collection is chosen to bring it to life and tell a unique story.

We built an ESG roadmap that runs from 2026 to 2028, moving from laying the groundwork to scaling impact across every city we operate in. Our vision is clear: to help shape the cities of tomorrow by designing how people live and connect around the world.
